Hi everyone.
I've previously posted about my father, grandfather and great grandfather all dying from prostate cancer in their 40s and I'm 47. I'm still having problems with urinating, as in I think I've finished but I haven't, always needing to go.
My PSA test is next Tuesday (28th). I'm now at the stage where I just want to know and then I can.deal with it.
With my family history I'd have to be very lucky to not get prostate cancer. Then again I might be worrying about nothing and it could just be an infection.
Hi Ijs1977 . It is the not knowing that really messes with the head but let's keep everything crossed for the PSA test and that you can get the waterworks sorted. Have you done anything about getting a flow test in the meantime or had a look at the pelvic floor exercises?
Hello Ijs1977
Here's wishing you a low PSA test on 28 January 2025. Just for your information here's a link to The PSA Test.
Once you get your results it's important to mention your flow to your GP.
Keep us in the loop as to how you get on.
Best wishes - Brian.
