Hi , someone kindly asked how we were both doing . But I can’t find it . It seems i must have a gremlin as it disappeared when I clicked into it .

we have settled down after last week as the stress levels were through the roof . Lots of sleepless nights but it’s settled a bit .
We are just really worried that our oncologist isn’t really listening to us . I believe he will be at the CT.  planning scan next week with the oncolgy radiotherapist . So we have decided to ask again about the lymph nodes and what he plans to do. We know that the Aberaterone / Prostap is working well as his PSA is down to 0.1.

Thanks for asking it’s very much appreciated.

Liz & OH xx .

  • Hi Liz & OH (

Stick with us - as the song goes "things can only get better".  You are both doing great - especially you as he doesn't want to interact - but I understand that!! Life is hard and he just wants to get on with it.

We are your "new family" if you like and there's always someone here for you - as I say - it's the place to let off steam, rant and rave and it takes everything away from your true family.

On a personal note I appreciate the support you also give to others, so thanks for that - I know it's hard when you are in the thick of it but you are doing great.

    Kind Regards - Brian x

  • Awe thank you Brian . i honestly see you all as our extended family as you have been so supportive in our desperate times . I don’t see that passing for a while as every blood test thinks get so stressful until we get the result . Maybe once the RT has been completed we might feel better and I suppose more in control .

    thank you again

  • Hello Liz & OH (

I also see it as my extended family - I have a little bit of extra responsibility as a "Community Champion" but still see the Community as my personal support.

I do appreciate the support "my flock" give to others on the Community who are new and struggling but at the end of the day WE are the Community and it's OUR Community and together we are great.

You two will get there - it's a hard journey and I know just sometimes - you do wonder - I go there myself - but hey it's Sunday - where I am we have just had the final call to evening prayer - so the Raki bottle is open.

    Kind Regards - Brian xx
