It’s taken us 6 weeks to get an answer with what’s going on with my husband
week after finishing radiotherapy, he started to have back & groin pain, spoke with oncology dr on a routine call, to which she said she’d arrange a ct scan & mri
today we’ve seen her face to face & it’s the cancer on his spine & pelvis which is playing up (was her words) so she’s arranged a 4 day course of radiotherapy, have an appt in 4 weeks, if this doesn’t work then it’s chemo
his psa level was stable at 0,06, but the past 2 months has gone up to 0,11 & then 0,17 ( I know this is still low)
we are devastated yet once again, waiting on results is way too long & we can only hope this works, he doesn’t want chemo !
I was calm in the appt, but am a mess now & this has really effected his mental health, as he’s not been able to get out playing golf with his mates, sitting around isn’t helping & now next week will be a wash out& this will now not help him get a new hip
life is so cruel
