Hi everyone
I ham having second zoladex implant Friday been on apalutamide for 5 weeks side effects sweating causing lack of sleep and going to toilet more ,can cope with this ,no drama
Had covid booster last Friday and since then I have had severe pain in buttocks which comes on in evening and really numb and tingly legs .
Any idea ?
Hi Mal CG , just noticed nobody had posted with advice, which is unusual. I assume that nobody has had the same but me answering will bring you back to the top of the list. My personal view (unless you get better suggestions) would be to try and talk to your GP or maybe a pharmacist. If it’s really bad, what about 111? Did you have the Zoladex in your buttock or stomach? David
Zolodex 10.8 is tomorrow I had covid jab last Friday by last Friday night I was in quite a bit of pain .I thought peraphs combination of apalutamide and covid booster had caused these problems it is getting better as the days pass ,both covid booster moderva and apalutamide give this problem a a side effect ,just wondered if anyone on here had same
Previous to covid thing everything as been ding dong
Hi David, I'm sure I read somewhere very recently that many doctors were recommending not having the flu & covid jabs on the same day as a few people have felt quite poorly for a few days afterwards. Might be worth checking when you go to your appointment tomorrow.
All the best
Brian
Hi Brian (Buzzers)
Thanks for the information. I have my joint jabs at 11.22 tomorrow. In the past I have been fine with both together (one in each arm).
I will check with the nurse and see what they say. Let's hope the power of positive thinking will overcome any side effects (I hope so I am off to Turkey on Sunday - I don't want to miss out on any EFES or Kebabs!!).
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Brian (Millibob)
Like you I have previously had the 2 jabs at the same time (& in the same arm), but have booked them apart this time just in case.
Have a great time in Turkey where I'm sure it will be warmer than here. We are off to Bath for a few days next week including seeing the Rocky Horror Show. I am full of antici.........pation
Best Wishes
Brian
Hi Brian (Buzzers )
That should be great - I just had a look to see who was playing Frank and it's ----- Jason Donavan - Let me know how he gets on - that should be one interesting performance - I assume you are "dressing" for the occasion.
As you may be aware we have a place in Turkey (my avatar is Oludeniz Beach) which is a couple of miles away. We just like the warmth at this time of year 25- 30c. It will be a relaxing few weeks although I will still be online during the holiday.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Brian (Millibob),
I would settle for 15 - 20C after waking to a frost this morning brrrrrrr.
We won't be ''dressing'' for the show this time, but will be as Adam Ant & Boy George when we go to a show in Truro the month after. Just got to practice putting all that make up on now.
Have a great holiday - Brian
Hi Brian (Buzzers)
Yes it was 1C this morning 550 foot above sea level in the Pennine foothills. It's looking a lot warmer in Turkey and as we said before I do feel the cold.
Enjoy the show on Truro (just a reminder under Community Guidelines you are able to add an image of yourself to a post) so will I be looking out for Adam Ant or Boy George?
Talking of being cold, my son lived in "The village" in central Manchester until he moved out to the Countryside with his partner. I saw him on a float in The Pride parade last year - it was for the Manchester water polo team - the team uniform isn't much and boy was it cold!!.
Take care and enjoy - I will be offering normal service from my balcony in Turkey.
Best wishes - Brian.
