First chemo

Well that’s it, the cancer poison s in! 

extra little Bruce bonus today. My pre chemo PSA taken this Monday was down to a stonking 0.47! That is down from 1.97 4 weeks ago and 111 on the first test 12 weeks ago. The Zoladex has worked its magic. Feeling tired but chuffed!

Wowzers this is brilliant news, the zoladex is fantastic, hubbys Psa has gone down from 143 to 10 in 5 weeks. Nearly fell through the floor. Onwards and upwards. Best wishes Grantyo12.

Great news Grantyo12 , the infusion may take a few days to kick in so take it easy this week.  Try and keep a diary as this might be useful for each cycle.  Best wishes, David

Thanks for the advice, at the moment I’m feeling a bit high on the steroids. I will take your advice! And will keep a daily diary, great idea! 

That’s brilliant, he should lower and lower. Then fingers crossed undetectable with the first treatments! 

That’s what I’m hoping, home from hospital now, pumped full of steroids and cancer poison ️ 

Good news, 1 down 5 to go. Besides the diary it is also a good idea to keep an eye on your temperature twice a day and be careful around anyone with a bug.

I have my thermometer ️ at the ready! I’ll be ultra careful 

Hi David, quick question if I may. When I left the hospital today she gave me a supply of prednisolone steroid tablets she told me to take 2 a day before breakfast. Did you have these? The side effect list looks horrendous. How did you get on with them. Also do i take them all the time thoroughout treatment?

any help appreciated.
