Hi all,

I have been on Prostap since March last year just before starting my course of radiotherapy, thankfully I have had undetectable psa levels since. My oncologist has told me that after my next prostap injection due in a couple of weeks I can stop as I would have been on them just over a year. Could anyone tell me roughly how long it takes to come out of your system and the side effects to wear off?

Hi Spursy1882 and welcome to the forum. I was on Prostap for three years and it was about six months after my last injection when things started to return to normal.

Morning Spursy

I was on Prostap for 2 years and had my last injection March 22 and I am still suffering the side effects.

Thanks for the reply, that sounds terrible for you, have your symptoms reduced at all?

What does your doctor have to say about it?
