Possible Liver metastasis

Hi Skippy I was diagnosed stage 4 in 2018 and treated with the stampede concept!

5 years down the line on H.T. and active surveillance bloods 3 monthly PSA still undetectable. Stampede was tough but very effective when dealing with PC

for the record had 6 cycles of chemotherapy followed by 37 sessions of radiotherapy. The worst thing I have done is google, better not to be tempted and put faith in your medical team.

This PC is a constant worry and I completely understand your anxiety. I was just telling my sister how I seem to limp from one mini crisis to the next pretty much every time I look at my partners blood tests, I can always see the worst in the ups and downs of the readings. I've just looked at my partners blood tests for this month and he's got two very high readings in his liver function that have freaked me out. I'm now pressing him to phone or send an email now. Can you not phone or email your oncology team? I do work on the policy of don't ask don't get and I don't see what's to be gained by worrying for three weeks. Give them a ring and see what they can do for you.

Just to say that a sudden increase in readings could be caused by a recent  infection such as COVID,  a bacterial infection, increased NSAID'S, change in drugs. It is natural to worry but hopefully it is just a blip.

Thanks Alwayshope that’s kind of you to pick this up. He has had a change with his drugs and with halving his steroids, also there’s been a lot of change with diet over Christmas, so it’s reasonable to see a blip I guess. 
Still going to chase it up though
