I did read somewhere about staying away from direct sun after cancer treatment... cant find it now.. is there any problem after radiotherapy and on hormone treatment with going on holiday to say Spain and direct sunlight?
Hi
I agree with Ido4. I can't imagine why it would be a bad idea to get out in the sun from a PC perspective. I can imagine some may have skin in the area that was irradiated that would be sensitive.
Get on that plane and treat yourself - I would have done but Covid stopped any thoughts of that!
Regards
Stuart
Yes that’s right my sister in law was advised to keep covered when she had treatment for breast cancer.
I think some hormone treatments can make you more sensitive to the sun, I'm on Zoladex and Enzalutamide and I have noticed it. I tend to be much more careful about exposure, so cover up more and make sure I use suncream.
I am sure some sun has got to be good for you though, just to lift your spirits!
Cheers Steve
