I had RALP 19 months ago. I made a good fairly rapid recovery, I believe in large part due to an excellent surgical team. I’m back to normal in all respects but one - ED. I’ve been prescribed Caverject. I’m a little nervous about using it. I’d be grateful to hear anyone else’s of experiences with it.
Hi BertieBB,
I have never heard of Caverject. Hope it works for you. Let us all know.
I still have ED from Hormones and Radiotherapy. Luckily my libido is still zero, so there's no thinking about what I can't do. I have decided just to wait for nature to take it's toll. If it comes back it comes back, but if not...I am now in Remission (the hormones have finally left my body, it took over 12 months since the last injection for this to happen). There's a little life appearing again downstairs, not enough to get excited about (chance would be a fine thing).
Once again, hope it works.

Following my husbands RALP in June 2021 he has also suffered with ED and has been prescribed Caverject. Initially we were very nervous of using the injections…..who wouldn’t be! However the results have been worth it. When it was first prescribed it took a few attempts to get the dose right with our specialist nurse advising us to increase the dose each time we used it until we got the desired effect!
I would suggest you try it as we’ve found it’s well worth persevering. Good luck!
Many thanks for your reply. We’ll certainly give it a go.
