Treatment postponed

Hi guys

Not posted on here for a long time.

After my rp my psa never really settled i had very slight increases month on month.

So 6 weeks ago it was decided to start hormone therapy and have 33 sessions of radiotherapy i started the hormone treatment and had a scan.

Had a call from consultant last week he said the scan had picked up a problem he explained that i have a lymphocele and its big so the planned radiotherapy will be postponed until he can discuss my case with the surgical team.

So frustrating has anyone else been diagnosed with lymphocele?

Not heard of Lymphocele before but did check it out for u.

Looks like a leakage from the lymph system that has resulted in this largish Lymphocele, just a question of draining it from what I can see which is presumably why the discussion withe surgical team.

When that's done u can go ahead with the RT by the looks of it, hopefully won't have to wait too long

It just seems its one thing after another at the moment but I suppose we all feel like that from time to time
