I had my last Prostap injection of a three year course yesterday. The nurse said it could be six months or more before I see any changes to bodily functions. Looking forward to being able to cut down on anti-hot-flush medication and being able to sleep better.
I did the three years, and of course the final dose is 'active' for over three months, so nothing changes until then, but she's right; within three months of the 'real' end of treatment, you start to notice benefits and within 6 months (so 9 months away), you'll suddenly realise you have more energy, and you've been getting fewer flushes. And yes, joy of joys, you'll sleep better. For many of us, the flushes don't go away completely, but they're not at all frequent now.

If I can't beat this, I'm going for the draw.
