Hi everyone,

Had my second Chemotherapy of six last week.

The first couple of days I feel ok.

Get up in the morning ready to hit the world running.

All my day planned so as to be as normal as possible.

After the first couple of days I get hit with fatigue without warning, this comes and goes.

So I rest until I am feeling good to go.

Started to get some Muscle pain around my shoulders and lower back

(could this be stress)

Hot flushes at anytime are limiteD

Chemotherapy is Docetaxel

I just wanted reassurance that everything I am experiencing fits in with my treatment.

Thank you all for your time and patience.

Take care and stay safe

  • Hi

Yes sometimes they can hit you like a car, plus the hair falling out and the brown nails, there are a few other things, I must stress please even if your feeling on top of the world, take your temperature morning and night, Your blood count will be low, so you may easily catch anything, weakness fatigue tiredness all part and parcel, just listen to your body, need rest then rest.
    stay safe

  • Thank you Joe,

Yes  you described it spot on.

Earlier today I was out of the game for a couple of hours with the Fatigue.

I'm back in the room now feeling more my normalish self.

    Thank you for your response,

    Take care
