Hi chaps
i was on 3 monthly Prostap in 2017 and got my PSA down to 0.197. Now back up to 14 so back on a month of bicalutamide but I have been told I’m going on 6 monthly Decapeptyl. Anyone know why they might have changed?
cheers, good wishes to all
The short answer is 'I don't know for sure', but the slightly longer one is that it may be about cost or the convenience of 6-monthly. But there are some differences in the way they act, which may make it a specific decision for your PCa.
Hopefully someone will know more, failing that, harass the specialist nurse!
