Hello friends! I did my Whipples 2018 and am still alive. My problem is that I lost 25 kg which is too much because I was not overweight. Any ideas how to regain some weight?
Hello Lars O
Welcome to the Online Community and the Pancreatic cancer forum.
I am sorry to hear of your previous cancer but pleased that your Whipples procedure was effective.
Have you spoken to your GP about the weight loss? I wonder if a referral to a dietician would help.
I will pop a link here to some Macmillan info that you may find helpful. You are also very welcome to give the Support Line a call and talk this through with one of the nurses.
