That was ruled out but symptoms continued and worsened . Finally having CT scan tomorrow to check pancreas .
i will be more shocked if there is NO cancer found
Stomach and back pain increasing , nausea , terrible itching over body and scalp . Weight loss and difficulties with eating .
I am scared it IS cancer ( already had breast cancer so know the score as it were ) but I so need answers now .
would really appreciate anyone who would be willing to share their symptom experience.
molly
Hy molly I had same symptoms and it was cancer of the pancreas I had chemo for 6 months then they were able to do a whipple surgery as the tuma had shrunk then another 6 months of chemo now I hse have scans every 6 months to kp an eye on it stay positive and keep smiling you will get there
Hi I have cancer of the pancreas going into the liver and have been given 4 to 6 months. I really hope you haven't had bad news. My back hurts, but I am being sick regularly. The doctor has given me morphine, but I always thought that was given towards the end. I haven't started it yet. The found I had cancer of the lining of the womb in February. I had a hysterectomy. From the MRI I had liver biopsy, they found the pancreas and liver from this. I have said no to chemo. I am 81 and consider I have done well to be here at all.
Molly please try to stay positive. The worst you are thinking might not happen. Take care and stay warmx
Oh my dear my heart truly goes out to you . I am 76 ( going on 77 ) so I do understand your reasoning . I pray that you have peace and little discomfort in the months ahead . I’m praying that the CT scan goes ahead today ….there is , as you know , a kidney function blood test before the contrast is injected- I’m not going to cope well if my scan is delayed . The pain , nausea , etc is increasing daily so I’m desperate for answers . Thank you so much for reaching out - despite all you are going through . I lost my dear husband to pulmonary fibrosis in 2010 ….nursed him at home right through end-of-life care …..he went peacefully, at this present time it’s all we can hope for . Bless you
Hope more than anything you get a good report and your scan is done today. It was good to hear that morphine was a good help in treatment. I have backache and my stomach aches sometimes..when I go out I take a plastic bag with me in case I want to be sick. It slowed down last week but has raised its head again. Here's wishing you all the luck in the world. Please let me know how things go
I’m relieved to say the scan went ahead ! They were really lovely , so kind . Just got to wait for results now . It may sound perverse , but I’m hoping they DO find something ——- being this sick and in pain with no answers is horrible. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear . Hope the morphine is helping .
