I'm sorry to read that your husband has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I know what a difficult time this will be for you both.
Has you husband been assigned a cancer nurse specialist (CNS) yet? If so, he could give her a call to find out what will be discussed at his appointment with an oncologist. If he doesn't have a CNS then he could phone the oncologist's secretary to ask what the appointment is for.
