Hi All, husband was diagnosed with PC in late September. He had a CT scan two weeks ago and we received his results yesterday .Doctors have said they have no more options than to offer palliative chemo.
He had chemo for 10 rounds and radiochemo for 15 rounds which has shown no reduction in the tumour or around his portal vein and SMA.
I am so devastated that i have no clue if I’m coming or going.
We have been married nearly 25 years and have three beautiful teenagers. I have no clue now how my life will look without him, he is my childhood sweetheart and my best friend.
Have been referred to palliative and hospice team which I am just not ready for…
Hello Chrisid
I am so sorry to see that your husband has been having treatment for pancreatic cancer and has now been referred to palliative and hospice team care. This must be an awful shock to hear after all his treatment.
