Hi
ii had a full hysterectomy in December. I was called back after a month to be told I had this rare ovarian cancer. They burst the cyst to remove it which means cells were released into my abdomen. I have been given the option of chemo but the consultant seems to be steering me to annual scans. Has anyone else had or got this. I am not sure which option is best. I went today to say yes to chemo but have an infection. Any advice please?

Hi Natajack
Sorry for the slow reply. I was told this at the beginning from the consultant but I only have a mri scan once a year and see the consultant once a year aswell. I was told there was a high chance of it returning so just keeping everything crossed for a positive outcome.
Definitely good to speak to someone in the same boat. Good luck with your recovery.
