Hi All,
Newbie here
I am 44 and have just been diagnosed with a stage 2b ovarian carcinomasarcoma. Ive already had surgery and I didnt realise it was so rare....is it even worth starting chemo? I feel defeated already. No one seems to have any info or stats on this rare cancer except how aggressive it is ;(
Any suggestions? Xoxo

Hi, I’ll be 44 soon and I was diagnosed with ovarian clear cell carcinoma last year. I had operation and after that 6 cycles of chemotherapy at Derriford hospital in Plymouth.
I’m sending positive and healing vibes towards your way. And if you would like to talk about it, I’m willing to talk. All the best wishes x
Hi, I experienced some side effects; but I believe everyone might have slightly different, same or similar side effects. I remember, before I started my chemo, when one of my chemotherapy nurses said: it’s like paracetamol leaflet - it’s a long list of different side effects and you won’t get all of them. I wasn’t working, but when I felt I was trying to go for a walk or at least to go outside and being in the garden made me feel a little bit better. But as far as I know the walks are “healthy” for us. I try to walk now as it helps my both mental and physical wellbeing. And as far as I know Ccc is rare one - no comment. I’m know how you feel …. Please, don’t hesitate to as more questions. And it’s worth finding out if there’s a cancer support centre nearby you, so you could get suitable support, advice and complimentary therapies xxx
