Hello,

can I please have some insight into ovarian cancers that were caught early as a relatively small in size 4/5cm

i am due for surgery for right ovary and tube removal as I have a complex cyst. It’s just under 5cm, ORADS 4 with solid components and high vascularity. Ca125 is 78 other markers are normal

I haven’t felt quite right for a while and couldn’t put my finger on it. Nothing very obvious though just bloating and pain, occasionally nauseous, acid reflux through the roof, and hormonal imbalance symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, periods all over the place with extreme pain. I put this down to pre existing condition hypothyroidism but my levels are optimal after a constant battle of adjusting meds. I just have this gut feeling but also don’t know if a small tumour could actually play havoc like this?

I would really appreciate if anyone would be willing to share their small ish tumour sizes & diagnosis

thank you xxx

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I don't have the experience you're looking for, as I had a different type of cancer, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
