My 25 yr old daughter has been diagnosed and it’s spread to her tummy lining is under a specialist as of last Thursday need to understand it help
Hello zoeynick
I’m sorry about your daughter’s diagnosis, it can be overwhelming at the start of the journey but it’s good you’re trying to understand it . This macmillan site has amazing information with regards to ovarian cancer and so does ovacome and target ovarian cancer these are really good information sites, please try to stick with these and not google as the information can be outdated and irrelevant as well as very scary! When you know more about your daughter’s stage and grading of her cancer you can be better informed. If she has a specialist nurse maybe call them for further information? When she has all the information from biopsies scans blood tests etc the team will have a better understanding of everything and then this will be passed on to her and you can better understand the journey you’ll take . If your ever overwhelmed please call the MacMillan helpline who will guide and advise you x take care x
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
