It's always very worrying when the CA125 goes up. While there can be other explanations for a rise, and you will read posts which back this up, when you've already been diagnosed with OC it is hard not to jump to that conclusion and the docs always take it seriously.  A repeat test in 4-6 weeks is normal practice. I should think an urgent CT scan will be booked if it has continued to rise. If it stays the same or drops, they will probably just test again in another 6 weeks. In the meantime, your aunty should self monitor for any new and persistent  symptoms such as bloating or loss of appetite and report them to her team. This could trigger a quicker CT scan which is the ultimate answer to the question of recurrence.
