Such a shock to get the diagnosis, when I have always taken such care to be fit and healthy. GP was slow to get me tests, ct scan etc then to be told I definitely have ovarian when the results hadn't come through. Laparoscopy for biopsies, then after 2 months 1st chemo last week. Shock to the system with the side effects I didn't sleep for 3 days. Pain relief for the pain and neuropathy just made me weepy. Off them now just taking paracetamol. Been googling too much, not doing that again. I am on immumetherapy so hopefully that will help. Thank you for listening.
Hi Renu52 and welcome to the group.
I didn’t have the same type of cancer, but I noticed you hadn’t yet had any replies. My post will bump yours to the top of the discussions and hopefully some of the ladies who can share their experiences will be along to add some replies. It’s a good idea not to use Dr Google as he can be extremely unreliable and only adds to your anxiety!
