Hello, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian cancer, in September last year (2022). I am on my 2nd round of Chemo now as it is active again. I am doing OK but would like to hear from others going through similar thank you

  • Hello Caravans

I am sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with ovarian cancer in September last year. Am glad you feel like you are doing ok, but I remember my own chemo for endometrial cancer last year and it can be tough at times. Remember we are here to support you when you need us.

How are you feeling with the chemo? I found the first few days of each cycle were the worst but then I did pick up again the 2nd week. For the first few days it was a case of going with the flow really, lots of rest and not doing a lot. And of course avoiding any infections.

If you feel chatting things through at any point would help, then please do give the Support Line a call. The number is below and they are lovely on there.

In the meantime, I wish you well with your current treatment and if there is anything else you need, then please do ask.

    Jane
