Just leaving a short note here to say hi. I had a full hysterectomy on 1st October because my CA125 was 594. Scans showed no obvious causes so decision was made to "whip it all out". Analysis showed stage 3 (2B?) ovarian cancer. But all removed. Now on chemo as it had "spread " and can't take any chances with rogue cells .
Hi LuckyLady and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Thanks very much for taking the time to share your experiences with ovarian cancer and I'm sure people who are newly diagnosed will find it comforting to know what their treatment plan might be.
When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
