Really worried about her she had fluid in the lung last week she had it drained and now back in hospital with more she is waiting to start more chemo, so hopefully that will get rid of this problem. It is a worrying time any help would be appreciated
Hi Aliollie,
Sorry to hear about your mum - but sounds like she’s receiving the right care from her medical team to keep the fluid under control. I hope she will soon be fit enough to start her next chemo, and that this will help relieve her symptoms.
it’s not something I’ve had experience of myself, but if you have contact with your Macmillan nurse, they may be able to advise on how you can help your mum manage her symptoms when she comes home from hospital.
All the best to you both,
Bx
