My daughter is awaiting either diagnosis or an all clear after a planned surgery 'soon'. I'm on the breast cancer forum so just I'm just 'visiting', I hope you all don't mind Slight smile

  • Hi Tiania welcome to this part of the forum and sorry that you havent had a response as yet sometimes parts of the site are quieter than others and this may be the case here.

I hope that the news is good and that your daughter will be given the all clear and that will be cause for huge celebrations. This must be very difficult for you as you will know better than most how awful she will be feeling with all the waiting time. Good that she has you to support her though.

Sending huge big hugs for you both and do let us know how you both get on. xxxxx

  • Hi Tlania. Sounds like you’re both going through a lot. Hoping for the best for your daughter, but happy she has your support . Let us know how she is x

  • My daugter is hoping to go home tomorrow. There were so many adhesions and her pain has been very severe as 'everything' was stuck together. The Gynechologist still thinks it may be a bad case of polycystic ovaries and endometriosis. They just removed ovaries and ducts as that surgeon cannot do the lymph nodes etc. and doesn't believe there is a need to. When all the tests come back we will know.
My daughter is happy not to be waiting for a bigger op, she'd rather go back for more, which I understand. I'll let you know when the path. results are back :) fingers crossed! I just hope for a quick recovery, that she copes with the sudden menapause and doesn't need more surgery <3

  • Just a note to say my Daughter is 'All Clear'. So astronomically high tumour markers for Pancreatic and Ovarian can 'just' be endometriosis. Who knew?

  • Hi Titania,

So happy for you both !! Blush

It must be a great relief......and such brilliant news not only for you, but also for others visiting this chat group who have high tumour markers and are awaiting diagnosis.

Thanks so much for sharing and giving others hope - and wishing all the best to you both,

    love Bx
