Appointment

Hi ShazzE,

Really pleased you have your appointment date now - and hopefully you’ll find, like most people seem to say on this site (including myself), that although it’s still very scary, having a plan in place and understanding next steps is far better than the period of waiting and not knowing.

My advise would be to take someone with you to our appointment (if you’re allowed), take a notepad and write down any questions you already have in advance and don’t be afraid to ask for a follow up call in case you feel you’ve missed or want to clarify anything.

For the next week, try and keep yourself as active and busy as you can, and hopefully the time will go quickly.

Thank you, I've also had appointment through for CT scan on Wed 24th but both appointments have asked me to come alone because of covid

Wishing you all the best for both appointments, and glad things are moving forward for you.

Doing it alone is often one of the side effects of Covid unfortunately....but if somebody is able to drive you to your consultant appointment you might find they will let you bring them in once you’re in the consulting room - I was offered that option anyway.
