Hi my daughter has now completed 4 chemo sessions and is waiting for a date for her debulking operation .(stage 4).this waiting is horrible as I'm sure you all know. But what I'm really afraid of is that they will find something unexpected and not continue with the op. Has this happened to anyone ? I'm trying to keep positive but to today it's difficult. She had a blockage which cleared itself and I guess that's what's at the back of my mind. If they don't operate are there alternatives?
Hi LaineyB
I can't help with your question about alternatives to surgery, as I had a different type of cancer, but responding to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list.

Hi lainey b
How did your daughter go, has she had the surgery, I've only hust joined and see your post was a while ago,
How you worry for your daughter, I'm the same with my mum, I'm the one with cancer, but I worry how she copes with it, we lost my eldest brother 5 yrs years ago to it and part of my mum died too, she is 86 and showing signs of old age now and I hate causing her the worry.
I have recurrence contained in the abdominal area 4 tumors and I find out on Thursday if I can have surgery, I have a stoma as part of they big surgery I had, and I also have 3 hernias. So there is alot to consider for surgery
I hope your daughter is recovering well and you are taking time for yourself
Take care pam x
