Hello,
My Mum had a pleural effusion and Tuesday’s test results have shown a Stage 4 gynaecological cancer - likely Ovarian - that has spread to her lungs. She’s 75 and we are awaiting Oncology and Gynaecology appointments for more info.
Mum’s age and the fact she has quite bad Osteoporosis is a huge. concern for me, as in will it impact what treatment she will be offered.
Has anyone else experienced similar and is happy to share their insights? Thanks in advance.
Hi DaisysInAJar and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm not a member of this group but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list.
Wishing you and your mum all the best
