Hi all

  1. Well here I am 2 months on from having my surgery  of total hysterectomy, omentum removal part of the liver ,diagram and peritineum but lucky enough not to have a colostomy bag, the surgery went really well but it's been a bit rocky as I left hospital with a UTI  had 4 weeks of antibiotics then ended up with C Diff so more antibiotics,I was so poorly . so my Chemo was supposed to start the 11th April but now it will start the 6th May, the sooner  it starts the sooner it's over although not looking forward to it.So far it has been quite a rollercoaster ride of emotions and I feel like I'm never going to get my energy levels back to where they were,I know I'm only two months post op but sometimes I feel very flat and tired then other days I'm better.is this what I'm supposed to feel ?? if so I don't like it at all.If anyone has any tips for when I start my Chemo I would appreciate them.
  • Hi

It sounds like you had rather a lot to deal with after your surgery so I'm not surprised to read that some days you feel a bit flat. I haven't had the operations that you have, as I had a different type of cancer, but I think it's impossible for us to feel full of beans all the time.

Hopefully some of the ladies from the group will be along soon to share their experiences with you.
