Waiting waiting waiting

Sorry you find yourself here. I know this must be a really scary time for you and the waiting is the worst. I was 35 when diagnosed early this year. I had surgery in September and have finished chemo and have just started on a new drug. They may come back with the best result possible and there is nothing to worry about. If however they don't there are many many things that can be done. My suggestion at the moment while you await result is to avoid Google. The information is often inaccurate and out of date. Talk things through about how you are feeling with friends, family or this community as bottling it up isn't usually a good idea. Have you been given a timeline for getting results?

Thanks for reaching out i really appreciate it. I'd probably say the waiting is worse than the surgery so far its horrible. 

Trying to keep positive about it but just knowing either  way would help so much. They said to me it is a mucinous tumour too which is why they were quiteworried if it is anything more than borderline. 

Unfortunately they said the results could take upto 4 weeks to come back as I had my surgery as an emergency and not where I was planned to as they had the right labs at that hospital. Just got that nervous wait now and hope to god that its a Christmas present that turns out to be a happy one!

I very much hope for you that it is the best Christmas present but remember there is support here in the meantime. 4 weeks feels like such a long time when you are in this situation. Try to keep your chin up.
