Little more to add except some nights offer only the darkest and longest of hours...
Hello Dear Marie,
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and reply to my post.
Just one of those occasional nights that come down with all the weight and darkness that is possible sometimes.
Today has been better.
Crazily, my oncologist tells me I am responding very well to treatment and my markers are much improved...
Have had 3 rounds of chemo and was expecting a scan last week. Unfortunately, due to the Corona situation, there is, of course, a huge backlog of people waiting, which I completely understand and accept. It just means I have to have another round now before my scan (4th August), so the next steps are a bit more delayed....
All is good!
Thank you once again for taking the time to write.
I don’t know what YOUR situation is, but for sure, I wish you all the very best!

Thank you i think the main thing our oncologists look for for our type of cancer is the ca125 markers. For you to be told they are much improved is such a good thing. And is what you want to hear. Wishing you a peaceful and lovely night full of sleep. I have mine checked again week after next. My first appt since treatment finished 3 months ago. Think i can forsee sleepless nights for me as time gets nearer
Hello again Marie,
Apologies for the late reply. It seems the site was down for maintenance for a while!
Thank you once again for all your warm words.
I read your profile and noticed, as far as is possible of course, a similar picture to my diagnosis.
As you haven’t had an appointment in 3 months, I’m assuming all went well with your surgery and subsequent treatment.
I truly wish you all the very best for your upcoming appointment. I hope you have a feeling of confidence with your medical team and that when you see them, no doubt after some sleepless nights, they will have positive and reassuring news for you.
Remember, as I gladly found out, there is always someone out there in those darkest hours.
With warmest wishes,
Kral
