I’m just wondering if anyone has ever had a normal ca125 but still had ovarian cancer? Mine was normal but I’m still scared because of weird discomfort in the abdomen area. Some of the discomfort is up high and some not. I had an ultrasound but have to wait a week for results.
I have always been in the normal range for the CA125 test even during the worst of my ovarian cancer. The test is not a good or definitive test for many people and can vary for several different disorders and diseases, for example, endometriosis. CA125 should be only be used as one element of diagnosing ovarian cancer.
