I had a total hysterectomy for ovarian cancer and was told I'd need 6 chemo sessions then a ct scan once chemo done. now I'm told I need a scan after my 3rd session. why would this be? has anyone else had a ct scan half way through their treatment? I'm quite anxious now.

Don't worry I have had chemotherapy twice now , it is the norn to do scan half way through to check how well the chemotherapy is working. It's very scary if you don't understand why things are being done. Don't be afraid to ask its better than worrying..

Hi, I had debulking surgery 5wks ago and have a CT scan this Thursday then have 6 chemo sessions planned followed by Avastin. Don’t worry it’s all normal but do ask your chemo nurse they are so helpful and will put your mind at rest. Hope all goes well for you
