What are your symptoms?

Hi. I had no symptoms, I went to the doctor with a pain in my side and he sent me for scans and then I got sent for different scans then before I knew it I had stage 4 ovarian cancer. Chemo made me tired, I had quite a lot of chemo then hysterectomy and a stoma before I got moved on to maintenance drugs luckily I don’t have symptoms with that apart from the odd day I get tired also I use anti sickness tablets but not on a daily basis. 

Had couple pains and period of not wanting to eat dinner which is pretty usual for me.  Got Covid, first time 2023, was breathless and tired.  Was in Spain on holiday and breathlessness got worse so went to hospital, they though pneumonia, further tests revealed lesions, air ambulances back to UK, confirmed stage 4 high grade serous Ovarian.

turns out had Pleural fluid so had that drained three times but after one chemo session that went.

have had 6 rounds chemo, debulking surgery 4 wks ago, planned two sessions of chemo followed by Bevacizumab every 3 wks with regular scans.  Then tablets I guess.

had v little side effects from chemo and although hair thinned I kept it through cold cap which was definitely worth it for me.

i was diagnosed October 2023.
