I was told today that there’s a possibility that I have ET. To rule it out they’re doing more bloods tests that are going to take 2 months to get the results. Then they may have to do a bone marrow biopsy to rule it out. How do you cope with the stress of waiting and worrying?
Hi Bertie1212, I was diagnosed with MDS in 2015 after a bone marrow biopsy. Try not to worry Bertie, there's a lot of prodding and probing and then the needle goes in. I used to have injections in my wrists and they were sore, very sore. In my opinion the search for bone marrow isn't too bad.
Good luck, let us know when you get the results, fingers crossed for you.
