Hi all
I’m in full remission from stage 4 follicular non Hodgkin’s lymphoma, after 6 cycles of bendamustine and obinutuzamab, So all good. Started maintenance sessions of obinutuzamab 8 weekly for years. Then in June I caught Covid. I have now been positive for over 6 months, horrible cough and tiredness. Had a couple of weeks in hospital where they tried all combinations of antibiotics and antivirals with no change. I’m not contagious, so now have my treatments in a side ward. Anyone else had this problem?
Thanks
Carol
Hi Carol FlorenceJ sorry to hear this. Not sure if there are any group members experienced this but I have talked with others across the community who have experienced the same challenges and like you the folks have not been able to get clear answers ((hugs))
I suppose it will go when it’s ready. It’s wearing me down far more than the chemo did. I’m the only one attending my chemo unit that has had this problem. Just feeling a bit sorry for myself
I talk with a small number of people on the wider Community who have been dealing with long covid - respiratory problems for a good few years.
I do hope it clears up soon.
