Biopsy results inconclusive so I am going to have a CT scan to see how many more lymph nodes are enlarged and look abnormal. Sorry I have not updated sooner as I have had a lot going on I have not had time to think about lymphoma at the moment as on the 4th August my husband collapsed and died still has not sunk in that he has gone had lots to sort out. At least it has taken my mind off worrying if I have lymphoma or not. One thing I have learnt life is too short.
Oh Sandy, I am so so sorry to hear about your husband. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Yes life is too short and a wake up call like this puts everything into prospective.
I can only send you a virtual ((hug)) and remind you that we are always around to talk and listen.
Mike
How awful, and what a shock for you. I had several biopsies that came back as nothing. It seems to be quite a difficult thing to diagnose.
Oh Sandy, what a rotten time you're having of it.
Lymphoma can be hard to diagnose, which is something I didn't learn until well after my own was diagnosed. It's possible that they may be able to send the original slides to a more specialised centre if the original tissue samples were OK (if they weren't, then don't let the same place perform future biopsies).
Do drop in whenever you feel like it. We have a group for bereaved spouses if you'd like support from people going through the recent loss of a partner.
