I'm not sure whether to make this in Hodgkin's or Non-Hodgkin's so here we go...
In March I noticed a small lump in the back of my neck. Not visible, but if you press down you can feel it and move it around. A week-ish later there were more, a couple on my neck and one on my head. There are more now, and I've been having symptoms since around mid-March.
Everyday, despite getting 9+ hours of sleep, I'm tired. It fluctuates, obviously, and every once in a while I'm less tired, but it still happens.
I also haven't been hungry, which is getting worse by a lot. A couple weeks ago it was "wow I'm not so hungry, weird" but now it's more like "huh, I don't get hungry at all throughout the day"
I've also had nausea but I'm not sure if that's from eating while not hungry.
My lungs hurt after small amounts of exercise and a lot of the time when I lay down, always in the same spots. When I breathe in too much, it feels like my lung is going to explode.
Recently, I've been getting the same kind of lung pain in my left side, a bit under my ribs.
I don't know if I'm overreacting or anything, sorry for how long this is. I'm planning to go to the doctor after quarantine ends.
Hi Anon599 welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately I cannot comment on any of your symptoms but your last sentence concerns me about only going to see the Doctor after quarantine ends. If you are worried at all then you need to make an appointment now and have all these symptoms and also examined by a medical person so make that appointment now.
Best Wishes
Hi , as Gail says, you need to make an appointment with your GP as they are the only ones that can help you find a way forward...... and please don't wait till after the lockdown (we don’t actually know how long this will be) as IF it is one of the 80 types of Lymphoma - some are aggressive and fast growing.
The Symptoms of Lymphoma can be very very different across all the types of HL and NHL but even then, when my type started to develop back in 1999 it was only a small rash and nothing else for years.
As you know, the body is a rather complicated machine so there could be many reasons for the symptoms you are having........ and second guessing is not the way forward and I would also guess that you may have referred to Dr Google and yes, Lymphoma would come up but there are lots of other medical problems that would come up as well.
Always around tp help out as best as we can...... but the only ones that can actually help is a medical professional.
Go to the doctors ,they are best placed to decide what's needed,if they have concerns the hospital referal is quick, it takes time as well for all the test results to determine if you have lymphoma d if so what sort which then determines the treatment, none of us have any idea how long the lockdown is going to last, so my advice would be go now, it's scary to be in the situation that you are,
t we all have been there and are still here, keep the faith
With anh lumps, it is best to go to the doctor.
For me i was really exhausted. Not just the normal tired after a long day. More as in unable to do the normal dailh things. Climbing up the stairs rather then walking.
What kind of pain are you experiencing? Just after excercise, a pain that comes and goes or a pain that is always there?
For me, i always hungry, couldnt eat against it. But lost a lot of weight.
Stay positive and stay safe. If they are getting bigger or more please do find help sooner. They would want you too!
