Hi all quick update from me, its 10 years ago today I was told I had lymphoma and the journey started, 8 rounds of rchop and a couple of delays and a stall at the end due to a false positive scan but I got there and can proudly say I am a good stat.
So to all those about to start or still struggling with treatment or post treatment, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, so hang in there and hope to see others celebrating there 5yr mark and being discharged and then may be you will remember to return and share your 10 yrs in remission so I am now officially cured.

Oh sounds great.
We were there last June for the first time.
Did the open top Land Rover trip up into the mountains to Nuns Vally through the Eucalyptus plantations - amazing.
More coincidence, we were booked to go to Madeira in 2009 in the May/June and never got due to treatment, so holiday cancelled.

We've been 3 times last one was 4 years ago, I love the top of the island best the sweeping vistas and the almost vertical drops in places.
Hi Highlander,
I haven't logged on for a few weeks as I'm on my first holiday in 20 months since diagnosis, bumbling round parts of Europe in our motorhome, so am just trying to catch up on posts.
Congrats on your milestones and may those final 5 years fly by.
Best Wishes
Tina
Thanks Tina and have a great time away, you deserve it x
