I was told in December 22 I had spinal compression, during the operation they took a biopsy and Feb 23 was told I had neuroendocrine small cell metastatic prostate it had spred to the whole of my spine, my ribs, my right shoulder and pelvic bone and also lymph nodes with primary prostate. Just want to say hi and thanks for having me. I have had 6 cycles of chemotherapy and 20 sessions of radiotherapy so far . Waiting to see what happens next
Hi Richy0766 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
It sounds like you've had a long and difficult journey so I can understand you wanting to find others who have been on a similar path to you.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post this in the prostate cancer forum, which I can see you've joined, as you'll then connect directly with others whose primary cancer was prostate. I'm sure the men there will be happy to share their radiotherapy experiences with you.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
