Hello, newly diagnosed with MEN1 and pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer. I’m hoping to connect and talk with people with similar experiences.
I'd love to talk .as I've never spoke to anyone since diagnosis in April 24
Me too. If you don’t mind me asking... what were you diagnosed with?
Sorry to hear that. I went to a NET specialist today and they said I don’t qualify for surgery so it’s just management with treatments from now on. Do you have MEN1?
I can't have surgery either .I get a injection every 28 days .I don't know what men 1 is
Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 is a genetic mutation where a tumor suppressing gene is missing. I have 5 pancreatic NETs and they never mentioned looking for more. How are you doing on the injections?
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
