I've been having treatment for the past two years, firstly having the lower part of my left lung removed. Unfortunately I suffered a blackout at the start of treatment and it was decided that an MRI of the brain was in order! They then found a brain tumour which was totally unrelated to the NETs it's at the frontal lobe and inoperable and malignant.
These setbacks dont stop me cycling or walking though and at last my hair is growing back so it's not all bad.
Hi Kevin.B and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
It sounds like you've been through a great deal but it's great to read that you're still enjoying cycling and walking.
I'm not a member of this group but just thought I'd pop by and say hello. I'm sure if you have any questions, or want other members to share their experiences with you, they'll be happy to help.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
