After 6 scans endoscopies and blood tests I,m to have Distal pancreotectomy with poss splenectomy plus gallbladder removal. The last octreoscan lit up on the 30mm lesion in my tail so it has all the appearances of a neuroendocrine tumour. It seems focal at this point but the next scan will be more focused so watch this space. I,m under a tertiary referral to Freeman Newcastle so I,m positive about moving forward.
