Hi, I'm 65 years old & live in Devon. I was diagnosed in January with primary tumour in pancreas and two secondaries in my liver. Also with Zollinger-Ellisson syndrome. The latter caused my hospitalisation over Christmas which led to my diagnosis and conformation after CT, Pet & Tectroyd scans in January. At the moment I am on watchful waiting with testing every six months, the next one being December. So I am grateful that my tumours are perceived as slow growing as I have been told that the Primary is inoperable. Also the Zollinger-Ellison is being controlled with tablets.
Basically, I am pretty much OK at the moment, but according to my oncologist I have probably had this for 4-5 years already. I just get tired quicker.
Last review one of my liver secondaries had grown by 3mm. which didn't seem to concern my oncologist so I'm not going to let it concern me.
Best wishes to all
