So hi
I’ve been diagnosed with Nuc stage 4 grade 3 so I basically have this embedded in my liver, I don’t appear to have it anywhere else but not impressed that its living there rent free!
I am having Chemo and about to have my 3rd cycle and then have a scan to see if this has changed the size etc. I know that this is treatable and not cureable and I can deal with this but is hard to keep positive 100% of the time.
So just wondered if anyone else is in the same sort of position?
looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Louxloux and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I don't have the same type of cancer as you but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. I've searched the group and found these posts from others who mention having NETs in their liver. You could have a read through some of them and reply to the more recent ones if you wanted to chat to the poster.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Sending a virtual (((hug)))
