Hi every one. I hope I am posting this correctly as new to this. I was diagnosed with NET of the pancreas with liver secondaries. Most of the time I cope well but recently just fed up.
The reality hits me out of the blue....i should know by July if the treatment has worked. It can't be cured but worried it hasn't or doesn't shrink the tumour. Feeling unwell most of the time & thinking will it get better?
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to hear that you're having a 'down day' but despite all the popular myths around cancer, including "you need to remain positive", it's perfectly natural to feel down sometimes.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you might also like to join the living with incurable cancer group which has been created specifically for people with an incurable diagnosis to discuss your feelings openly with others who also have an incurable diagnosis. If you'd like to join clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.
It would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
