Hi, I’m new here
would like some advise of what to expect
my husband has recently been diagnosed with carcinoid cancer
it’s in operable and at stage 4 but the grade is between 1 and 2
we are waiting a scan that shows up where it’s spread the one that is radioactive, we know so far it’s primary is small bowel and in lymph nodes as well as tumours in stomach
i am just trying to find out as much as possible
we are so anxious
would love to hear from others going through this
thanks sejjjc
Hi Sejjjc and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to read that your husband has recently been diagnosed with carcinoid neuroendocrine cancer and it's natural that you want to find out as much as possible about this cancer.
I don't have the experience you're looking for but if you type 'carcinoid neuroendocrine' into the group's search bar you'll find previous posts which mention this and you could have a read through some of them and respond to any where you think the poster might be able to help you further.
It would be great if you could pop something about your husband's journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
