Update on tests

• Hi Roddas did you have a biopsy? 

Yes i did,  but they only managed to get 2, as my blood pressure went dangerously high and had to abort the procedure.

Did they sedate you for biopsy or was it under general anaesthetic. 

I was sedated for the procedure. It was touch and go whether they did it, ad was already high. Im now on BP tablets to keep it down. 

Would u mind me asking what type of NET you have? 

All I know i have a NET on my.right lung. Its 2.5cm, stage.1, and in 1 lymph.node. i dont know if its A topical or topical.

I was diagnosed with rectal NET following colonoscopy which was an incidental finding. Had PETdotatate, and PET FGD and an MRI. Awaiting for oncology appointment this Thursday 

I had a colonoscopy 2 years ago and had 3 polyps removed, they were clear though. I have IBD. I wish you all the best for your appointment on thursday. Sending you hugs  

It’s very positive that they caught  it early. Best wishes to you and stay strong. 
They took 5 polyps with colonoscopy and 1 out of 5 turn out to be rectal NET. It’s stage 2, possible higher. I’m so looking forward to hear from The oncologist this Thursday regarding the PETscan and MRI results but feeling so worried as well. They were suspecting that it might have affected the liver. 

Thank you. It’s so hard to stay strong not knowing the prognosis. I started off with a gastric bleed in May, then a positive FIT in June which prompted the colonoscopy. I struggle from the overwhelming fatigue.
